Missing CC .... On Certain OTA Stations.

Some OTA Channels have CC but EMBY Android TV is not displaying them ... These are OTA Channels.

 

2.1 ABC Displays them

6.1 CBS Not being Displayed.

8.1 NBC Not being Displayed

12.1 FOX Being Displayed.

Hi.  If the channel is transcoding, the closed captions will be lost.  Are the channels that don't have them transcoding?

That appears to be it but why all of a sudden are they transcoding ? They were not before and why only Certain OTA Channels are transcoding ? they are all MPEG2 ? Why not just remux?

OK I got the recordings to work with CC by choosing to direct play TS files.

one more follow-up disabling Hardware transcoding and now all Channels work even when transcoding. I have enough horsepower on my server not to use hardware transcoding.

The same thing is happening when using Channels DVR ... When transcoding using QuickSYNC I get no CC. I recently received a new update for my Intel Drivers.

What do you mean by look at an example ?
