How to remove a Tag

I know how to use the API to add a tag to a movie. But I can't delete a tag. The API only provides a POST for adding Tags. Does anyone know which API I can use to delete Tags?

I think you just  remove the tag from the list locally then POST the updated tag list to that same endpoint.

Right the method to add was a convenience method, but other editing operations require using the normal metadata editing api.
