ebr 16184 Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 The series has no end date, which the app is interpreting as it still continuing. Not sure why the web app sees it differently...
Happy2Play 9780 Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 So the web client shows this, correct? Note item level shows the same Does Emby require <enddate>2006-05-21</enddate> as that nfo is missing it? 1
syralk 13 Posted March 30, 2021 Author Posted March 30, 2021 @ebr @Happy2Play yes the nfo is missing the enddate tag but the nfo have the tag <status>Ended</status> so it should at leas just show 1998 without Present word

It is a matter of which field is being read. But yes uniformity is preferred. So a defect of third party metadata not providing Emby metadata, correct? Edited March 30, 2021 by Happy2Play
ebr 16184 Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 We stopped displaying the status so the TV app stopped looking at it ages ago. I guess that is the difference. A proper end date in the metadata will solve it though.
