n00b42 41 Posted March 3, 2021 Posted March 3, 2021 Hi, I decided to switch away from Xpenology and after some thoughts about TrueNAS, I decided to give Unraid a try (totally unrelated: after my mainboard broke). Now, I have some Config Backups, and I was thinking about importing it, but as most paths changed I wanted to ask if I should or have to do the configuration by hand? And while that might not be a big problem, I would like to at least import the users watched state (for the other users), will that be possible if I do everything else by hand? Regards Max

Regards Max If you're a Premiere member try the Backup Configuration plugin which also does restores. One of the specific you can restore is watched data. If all your paths are going to change you are likely to start from scratch but doing a User restore right after getting Emby setup. Then add your libraries and let it scan.
n00b42 41 Posted March 4, 2021 Author Posted March 4, 2021 Thanks for the quick response. Yes, I have Premiere/Backup Configuration, but did not know if restoring is possible on a granular basis. Iwill do that. Regards Max
Solution Carlo 4561 Posted March 4, 2021 Solution Posted March 4, 2021 Try and do a restore (don't really do it just start the process). You will see lots of things to be able to selectively restore. 1
n00b42 41 Posted March 5, 2021 Author Posted March 5, 2021 Thanks, worked so far. Just if thats not known / expected: While the Users were successfully restored (at least at a first glimpse), the user images while existing in the user folders are not associated with the profiles.
