Limited Cpu

Hi first time posting topic sorry for bad grammer.

but it would be nice to see limitation for cpu load usage, rather then keeping 99% of my synology ds918+  using only 1 device transcoding.... would be awsome if throteling would work do so like 2 users meaning 50% each of select how much % for each user to max alow cpu to push, example user 1 using 40% max cpu usage user 2 using 40% usage user 3 20%usage limited to 720p only at lets say 4mb.... have 500/500 myself so "should be no problems with speed of ethernet" but still its able to transcode only 1 user at 99% with 1080p 8mb.... that is abit weirdly much...

am i using settings wrong perhaps? but it would be nice to see an option of sort

Hi.  The process we use for transcoding (ffmpeg) doesn't really have this capability.  We approximate throttling by just stopping the transcode once we've finished enough of it to play with a buffer.

Also it is a question of whether said cpu can actually keep up if a limit was applied to each transcode if it were possible.
