Remote User Can No Longer Connect To My Emby Server

So bit of an odd one and not sure if anyone can help.

 

So my buddy has been connecting from my emby server for about a year or so. As of a week ago, he is no longer able to connect...I can connect remotely without issue. His device on a different network can connect remotely, We tried everything I could think of and still no luck.

 

Obviously this sounds like a firewall issue but can anyone explain to me how to fix it? I am thinking its on my end somehow, I do already have port forwarding set up for my server.

Nothing has worked so far. The client was able to connect for months without issue, now no longer able to connect.

Are you using a vpn?  But looking at your forum access history, I see you have connected from 4 different ip addresses.  This last one show Emby port open for remote access.

I think my phone has a Google vpn but that's not where I'm trying to connect from even though I have no issues from my phone remotely. 

 

It's specifically with his internet. I can't figure out what the issue is since he hasn't changed anything.

So it's only an issue for one person on their device?

Yes. Then when the device leaves there network, it works just fine.
