how do I back up Live TV settings

Hi,

I have put a lot of work in the lists and mapping to emby guide data.

How can I back up my Live TV setup?

It doesn't seem that the Configuration Backup plugin does what I need.

Live TV setup info is stored in an XML file in your config folder named livetv.xml

This and other config files are backed up by the  Configuration Backup plugin.

It does not however backup your recording schedule - timers.json, seriestimers.json

Has this changed on windows?  I can't seem to find this file anywhere after doing a fresh installation, configuring a TV source, and mapping a few channels.  My linux server has the file in /var/lib/emby/config

Ok ive read this a couple times and went to the config backup section you've linked. Still not finding this LIVETV.XML that is supposed to be there. any additional tips are appreciated. I have 2 emby servers and i really dont wanna have to manually redo these channels. thanks.

Hi that’s in the database now so you’ll need to follow our backup guide:

Configuration Backup

 live TV settings will be included as part of  that.

ive read the backup guide and obv i am not seeing how to pull out just the LIVETV config data. I dont see ANYTHING in the Configuration BAckup guide page that mentions it. Am i missing something obvious

HI, sorry, there is no way to just pull live tv settings. It's not so simple when there is data that integrates with the libraries and users.
