Live TV - Wrong Audio - Language switch not working - Hauppauge & HD HomeRun

Good Evening,

 

I'm encountering an issue with Live TV in italy:

When I watch programs on Live TV channel like "Real Time" or "Rai 1" etc.. that are single audio only, I can listen to the correct italian language but when i try to watch Any "Mediaset" channel that is dual language, like "Italia uno" or "Canale 5" etc... the channel start with the english language by default and the language switch is not working. If i switch to Italian, nothing happen.

 

The problem happen on the Emby web client, Emby for iOS and Emby for FireTV

 

The problem exist using the following Tuner:

Hauppauge WinTV-quadHD With WinTV 10 (I can switch audio on WinTV and listen to the italian language)

HD HomeRun connect-quatro (Also on the HD homerun native app I can switch audio tracks)

 

On the User settings in Emby the default audio is set to be Italian

I kindly ask for your support to possibly have an help to solve this issue.

It seems that with the HD HomeRun, the problem disappear disabling the hardware encoding on the homerun in the Live TV settings.

 

still working on a solution for the hauppauge. I will post a server log ASAP
