Moleburt 0 Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 I have run into a strange issue, I noticed today that most of, but not all, of my anime are only using the first seasons metadata for episodes, I have tried refreshing metadata and it doesn't change anything. All non anime seems to be completely fine. Not sure what the issue is, or what to even do to try to fix it. The only change I have made recently has been adding a new Hard Drive to my PC and splitting my TV shows between them, but the episode naming issue seems to have happened after that because I remember some of the shows that are incorrect now being correct the other day. Any help would be great! Thanks!
pwhodges 2012 Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 (edited) Have you checked that the display order/numbering scheme (Aired, DVD, or Absolute) selected for the series is still correct? Paul Edited February 21, 2021 by pwhodges
Moleburt 0 Posted February 21, 2021 Author Posted February 21, 2021 Yes I have them all set to aired order and I use tvdb to organize files and I use the “TV/Show Name” file structure and the “Show Name SxxExx” naming for my files. They were all matched perfectly fine the other day and for whatever reason something got messed up with the anime series.
pwhodges 2012 Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 It can help if the episode files are put into season folders within the series folder. If they aren't, try that for one that's gone wrong and see if it's better. Paul
Moleburt 0 Posted February 21, 2021 Author Posted February 21, 2021 I forgot to add that to my description of folder structure, I have “Tv/Show/Season” then “Show Name SxxExx” my mistake for not mentioning it originally
pwhodges 2012 Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 Do you have the anime plugin enabled? If you've made a metadata source from that your default for anime, maybe that's got problems. (I personally found no benefit using the plugin over just using TVDB for my anime.) Otherwise, I guess letting us see a log covering your attempt to refresh metadata might give a clue. Paul
