johnsonb 12 Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 Hello. Well my Linux Emby partition 'blowed up real good' and since it is a dual boot machine I decided to use Emby under Windows. Well in Windows the server (v4.5.4.0) does not announce itself to two Roku boxes using the Beta and non-beta client. It is up and running. The only server show shows in the Emby client is the last server used that no longer exists. I'm dead in the water. The server log https://paste2.org/Cs7wJ5wh thanks
Luke 42087 Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 Hi there, what does "does not announce itself" mean?

And I applauded myself just even remembering to include the log..... By announce itself I meant the server does not show up on the Roku screen as a server to choose from. I tried to enter the server manually however it cannot find the server. Bj

Well one user account is acting odd however I will post that in the appropriate forum. thanks
Solution johnsonb 12 Posted February 20, 2021 Author Solution Posted February 20, 2021 You can delete this thread. Port forwarding saved the day! I should have looked at that first. Sorry for the trouble. Bj
