lucasbuck 2 Posted February 18, 2021 Author Posted February 18, 2021 I didn't see an option to list networks.
Carlo 4561 Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Try rebooting your notebook and see what IP it comes back with.
lucasbuck 2 Posted February 18, 2021 Author Posted February 18, 2021 I restarted the server and it still stuck. Thanks for all the help everybody!

But as the note shows we still truly do not know what private ip space is already covered. Edited February 18, 2021 by Happy2Play

I connected it directly to the router and the ip changes to 192.168.1.194 and I can connect from the laptop. But I can't leave it like this. And you're certain these are just switches? They should be effectively transparent and affect nothing. I guess that simply disconnecting the server and reconnecting it is what got the IP address reset to the router's subnet. But I think it will be necessary to find out where the 192.168.200.2 address came from, because if there is a rogue DHCP server somewhere, your networking will not remain stable even if we get it going for you. Jk It's the still unfixed forum bug that if you reply to a post at the end of the page before last it doesn't refresh to show that it worked - so by reflex I click again and get another copy (and so on until I remember). Paul No worries, Paul, one of those rare instances when one could actually get a smile on his face around the forums. Cheers
Luke 42078 Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 Are you still having an issue with this?
lucasbuck 2 Posted February 24, 2021 Author Posted February 24, 2021 It seems to be working well, thank you! 1
