File copy time when using folder monitor

Hi there

I have a Emby server running on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, which references a folder on a USB3 drive for my 4K media files. When moving items into this folder, as the files are very large there is a significant time between starting and finishing the copy. Is the folder monitor system smart enough to not try and read the media file until the file is complete, or should I move these files to a separate folder on the device first, so they can be quickly moved into the target folder on the same device?

Hi, the server has a roughly 40 second delay to try and account for this.
