BobbyCR 13 Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Hello All, I've been noticing lately that my emby server installed on raspbian has started to get stuck from time to time, I'm not 100% sure but I think the cause is the Simkl plugin which now I have uninstalled, i was testing it to see if it was better than trak.tv: ● emby-server.service - Emby Server is a personal media server with apps on just about every device. Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/emby-server.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled) Active: inactive (dead) since Tue 2021-02-16 09:22:21 CST; 53min ago Process: 18291 ExecStart=/opt/emby-server/bin/emby-server (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS) Main PID: 18291 (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS) feb 16 09:22:20 raspberrypi emby-server[18291]: at Simkl.Services.Scrobbler.embyPlaybackProgress(Object sessions, PlaybackProgressEventArgs e) feb 16 09:22:20 raspberrypi emby-server[18291]: at System.Threading.Tasks.Task.<>c.<ThrowAsync>b__139_1(Object state) feb 16 09:22:20 raspberrypi emby-server[18291]: at System.Threading.QueueUserWorkItemCallback.<>c.<.cctor>b__6_0(QueueUserWorkItemCallback quwi) feb 16 09:22:20 raspberrypi emby-server[18291]: at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.RunForThreadPoolUnsafe[TState](ExecutionContext executionConte feb 16 09:22:20 raspberrypi emby-server[18291]: at System.Threading.QueueUserWorkItemCallback.Execute() feb 16 09:22:20 raspberrypi emby-server[18291]: at System.Threading.ThreadPoolWorkQueue.Dispatch() feb 16 09:22:20 raspberrypi emby-server[18291]: at System.Threading._ThreadPoolWaitCallback.PerformWaitCallback() feb 16 09:22:20 raspberrypi emby-server[18291]: Source: Simkl feb 16 09:22:20 raspberrypi emby-server[18291]: TargetSite: Void MoveNext() feb 16 09:22:21 raspberrypi systemd[1]: emby-server.service: Succeeded. I suspect Skimkl since it was the last one to perform an action and also because this started not long ago and the time may coincide with the time of the plugin installation.
Luke 42078 Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Hi, yes you'll need to remove the .dll file for that plugin if it's causing the server to crash on startup.
