select multiple episodes for deletion by range on screen

Wow, didn't know how to put this in a title.

I have about 600+ episodes marked as played. I want to delete MOST of them.  Is there a way to select all the episodes from the first I check mark to the last and only those?  What I mean is an action like you get in a file manager.  You click on the fist file, hold down the shift key, then click on the last and it selects all the files in between.   In the image I want to click at the first red circle, then click the second red circle and have all the episodes between them marked as well.

This is how I am filtering them. The only filter applied is Played.
