Real-Time monitoring vs Library Scan

I have real-time monitoring on all my libraries, and it works as expected.

As real-time monitoring picks up changes to libraries, do I need still need the scheduled library scan?

There are certain scenarios where the real-time scan can miss things.

And some of the plugins (auto box-sets is one example) only function during a full scan.

I would still run one at least once a week.

I figured library scan would do more, but wasn't sure
