Carlo 4561 Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 For something specifically like your multi disc Rush disc what I and many others do is use MakeMKV to rip the main track with only subs and language we want. Make sure you know what languages you selected. Rip it to Rush1.mkv. Now do the same with Disc 2 with same subs and audio languages and rip to Rush2.mkv Now use AVIDemux, ffmpeg or any other software you're familiar with to join all parts to one file. Once you have one file you can rename it proper and then convert it to AVC or HEVC. While converting if you want go back and use MakeMKV to rip the "extra" tracks if you want and convert them as well after your main media is done. The key to appending or joining multiple files is to make sure all internal tracks of each media match.

I've also rip some of the extra stuff on disc and make videos of them as well but they go in the extras folder. You can merge multiple files via ffmpeg or if you want a gui that's decent use avidemux (open 1st file, append 2nd file, save). Hi again, could you show the content of the extras folder in the example above?

I was wondering if it had to follow the main movie's file naming scheme, apparently not. I notice the 2nd item, ah... Jean-Pierre Ferland (Quebec music giant) also recorded 2 wonderful albums there, Jaune and Soleil, with a certain Tony Levin on bass... Timeless and perfect. In the same vein, Sound City is a great movie about another legendary recording studio. A must see for all music buff.
