What is everyone using for free SSL?

I was using ZeroSSL free plan but as soon as you have 3 90days certs you cannot create anymore. I don't really want to pay for a cert just for a home server. What is everyone else using that is free?

Thanks

Hi, yes that and also LetsEncrypt is pretty popular.

I (like quite a few others) have my server running behind CloudflareCloudflare manages issuing and renewing the ssl certificates automatically so I didn't have to do anything besides installing a certificate on my server so the communication between cloudflare and my server would be secure, which isn't 100% necessary. You might have a tiny bit higher latency because all requests are proxied through cloudflare, however I believe the pros of that outweigh the cons: caching, ddos protection, true server IP hidden, and much more.

There's a good guide on how to set up Emby with Cloudflare somewhere but I can't seem to find it anymore.

Caddy server with let's encrypt ssl. It is free and caddy renews the certificate automatically... Or should I say automagically.  I use caddy version 1 because I'm too lazy to learn all the cool stuff they built in version 2.

I then use the godaddy api to fix my a type records when the dynamic ip changes so everything stays the same.
