Incorrect number of episodes displayed

Recommended Posts

I have a library set up of Mixed Content type. The folder structure contains strm files for each episode.

For the same TV show the number of available episodes is 4. If I sign in as another the number of available episodes is 74.

I have tried recreating the library.

If I delete the user, then recreate the user all is fine.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Many thanks

If I am understanding correctly, I would ask if there are any Parental controls or Access differences between each user?

There are no differences in the access controls or any other settings between the users.

The recreated user has exactly the same account details. Only when recreated did the number of episodes available to play exist

Can you please show screenshots to demonstrate? Thanks.

Two different users, same access controls.

See episode count for Game of Thrones.

Hi.  Those are unwatched counts.

If you open the series both users see all the episodes correct?  But all new users should have a unwatched status on all items as it should be a blank slate.

Are you trying to say you created a new user and they appear to have a watched status on item?

For the user where 1item is displayed only one episode for the entire series are visible.

For the other user all episodes in all series are available.

If I remove the library and then add it back in, rescan files and refresh meta data the problem persists.

Removing and recreating the user is the only work around I have found

The only way what you are describing is for user restrictions.  If one user can see all, adding and removing library will do nothing.

Can you show screen shows as the one above only shows unwatched count.
