Hello, please am faced with another challenge. So after resolving the access permission issues, I was able to scan my library and played a few movies. About 15 hrs later I powered up my server and tried to watch a movie only to be faced with #no compatible streaming

@Happy2Play please move my posting to a new separate topic. Thanks.

Either your media path is not valid, it has gone offline, or emby server is being denied access to it.

i used this command to grant access when i setup the server setfacl -m user:emby:rx /mnt/media. can access permission change by itself after it has been granted?

I can only tell you what I'm seeing based on the error message, and it appears to be one of the three things I mentioned.

i re-entered this command in my terminal setfacl -m user:emby:rwx /media/sadiq/Media it fixed the problem (videos playing now), but what i don't understand is how it lost the command entered previously.

Thanks for the feedback.

well unless you have permissions set properly in your fstab file, you will lose whatever permissions you set manually after each reboot...
