IPTV and Emby

I have working m3u8 links for live tv which are working in vlc but not emby with a playback error like "no compatible streams found" or something. Question, does iptv work with emby?

Apparently a single link to a stream doesn't work I have to have a playlist of multiple links. But from my understanding, IPTV addon is specifically to handle single links to a stream.

Correct.  The IPTV plug-in is designed for single streams (it pre-dates our Live TV).  Our normal Live TV setup is for playlists of different channels.  You use the one that fits your purpose.

But it doesn't work in my case. The plugin brings that error on any single stream link.
