Subtitles not showing up

Hello, I have a problem with subtitles on some files, not sure why, no language works on Edge or Chrome, works fine on Android, is a little weird on Opera (I have to start the show with no subs, the select them while it is already playing, but stopping the playback makes subtitles disappear again). The subtitles are in .srt format and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with them (like overlapping time codes etc.)

You enabled PGS format subtitles, which the browser does not support.

Thanks, that was it, when I downloaded another subtitles in the original language and loaded the video file with those it worked. It seems starting playback with the embedded subs caused a glitch and I was unable to select different ones. Is it possible to make emby ignore those? I found such setting in bazarr but not in emby.
I keep transcoding disabled for performance reasons, sometimes emby will try to transcode even though the connection can easily handle downloading and sending the original file and it keeps my server's CPU at 100% for hours.

There's currently no option to ignore specific subtitle formats.
