Music crashes the app

Whenever I start playing music on the Android TV and Xbox emby app just crashes and app closes and I have to go back into it.

Actually I have sent the logs as in your instructions user is called Aminah and example is Zayn album Nobody is listening. When I click play all app just restarts and I have a lot more examples like this.

Unfortunately, I cannot see the cause of the crash in your log but it looks like something in the Android system.

What is the format of this music?  Does it play via any other app on the device?

Music is in Flac and it plays on my phone using emby. On AndroidTV it plays perfectly on Jellyfin but just crashes on Emby.

@ebr Hi,

 

I am still seeing a lot of problems on the latest version with music especially direct playing anything Flac Media error code (weird symbols) There is either no sound at all or static noise.

I have sent some more logs.

Basically flacs just don't play on emby using firetv app mate

But what exactly does "don't play" mean?

In order to track down these issues with logs we need to know exactly what was done and what happened during the log.  e.g.:

1. opened app
2. went to x screen and clicked on y
3. played suchandsuch by clicking on the "play" button on the screen
4. yadayadayada happened and I saw x message on the screen
