Email Notifications plugin

Hi

Is there a way already, or could you add a way that you could set the friendly name of the sending user. 

I have just started to use the email plugin, i use it with my Gmail account and it works just as expected, but could you add the friendly name of the sender as well?
Use my Gmail for various notifications from apps and am able to set the friendly name it displays when the email is received so its easier to filter on them.

It works OK for me.

If I put something in the "Email from Name" field, that is how it shows up when delivered.

I also use Gmail to send from/to.

Which OS are you running, as there was a 3rd-party plugin update by @Anthony Musgrove last year, which is what I'm using.

Hiya,

i am using Lukes one, and in email from it don't like it if not a valid email.
I shall have a look at other plug ins.

Buenas tardes, hace unos días, que este complemento no funciona en mi server 4.8.0.0 en Synology..No recibo notificaciones de contenido subido al NAS y el reporte de la tarea programada..Alguna idea? Muchas gracias...
