I was thinking if you have an option to have 2 pictures for Episodes Thumbnails,

2. Posters/Episode thumbs Landscape

It's very much needed for Anime Movie Posters as its very linked to the TV-Show rather than wholesale Movie category.

They are already there.  Expand the hidden sections.

So your episode thumbnails are 2:3 posters? For best results they should be 16:9 aspect ratio.

No the issue is there are NO episode images and the inherited Poster is shown in Episode placeholder.  Now if Series has a Landscape/Thumb image it would be used.

As ebr mentioned there is a option for these images though.  When you upload a image there is a type selector right above the upload button.

 

I series has landscape/thumb it is used in the absents of a episode image.  I can only guess Episode Screen Grabber is disabled.

Definitely. Anime movies with movie posters looks much better than thumbnails. 

 

Any chance you could add a secondary option for episode thumbnail.

1 for Next Episode view

1 in Regular view

You're missing the point entirely. I'm talking about episode thumbnail.

E.g:

Naruto S00E01.mkv

Naruto S00E01-thumb.jpg <<<<<<< This is swapped as the movie poster (Portrait)

 

Now we need an additional jpg file for Next Episode (Landscape),

Maybe,

Naruto S00E01.mkv

Naruto S00E01-thumb.jpg

Naruto S00E01-nexteps.jpg

What server version?  I know there is a bug in beta.

So you are saying SxxExx-thumb.ext is not working?

Episode Images
The following naming conventions are supported for episode images:

{name}-thumb.ext (in same folder)
{name}.ext (in metadata sub-folder)
Supported image extensions are jpg, jpeg, png and tbn.

For example:

 \TV
    \Glee (2009)
       \Season 1
          Glee S01E01.mp4
          Glee S01E01-thumb.jpg
       \Season 2
          Glee S02E01.mp4

But next up placeholder is landscape. But sound like you want a option for Portrait or Landscape. 

Or Next up Row a little more dynamic like Season list view.  The issue is the absents of episode images though.

I'm using the latest 4.5.4.

Seems like you're still confused as to what I'm asking. I swapped EPISODES thumbnail (landscape) with poster (portrait). NextUP is forcing the posters to be stretched. I would prefer to have a SECONDARY episodes thumbnail for NextUP.

yes you're right, @Happy2Play this is not about inheritance. This is that his episode images are 2:3 aspect ratio.
