Since upgrading to Emby 4.8.11.0 on my Windows server, Emby Server CPU usage is at 12 to 14% when there are no active streams or any significant activity going on.

Clients are slow to load images and information.

I could see a lot of entries for Iconic Image Enhancer in the logs, so I disabled it, and after doing that, things returned to normal. 

There might be a compatibility issue with this plugin and the new version of Emby?

The Emby server provides this data only at the episode/item level, so that's what the plugin offers for icons.

I have read through all the forum posts, installation guide, and internet searches to try to answer one question: Can Iconic be used with photo media and does it have the ability to import a user-defined text icon overlay?

So far, I have not had any luck in finding even a partial answer to these questions. Does anyone happen to know whether Iconic can be used with photo media?

Sorry, the plugin doesn't support photos or custom icons.

Thank you for confirming what I had suspected was the case.

Fortunately, the devs are actively talking about and crafting functional enhancements to improve the utility of the Emby Photo Viewer.

One cannot help but fantasize about having the option to overlay some little bitty piece of metadata atop one's photos when in slideshow mode.

I have a question. I have some multi-version files (1080p & 4k). For the 1080p I'll have IIE display an HD icon, so far so good. But how would I go about to show a 4k icon **if** it's a multi version movie/episode that contains both 1080p and 4k?

Like what I'd want to achieve would be: If multi-version & 4k|2160p in the 4k file name --> Display 4k icon instead of HD icon.

Is there a way to achieve this?

I'm not familiar with this 'addon', but if it requires a separate plugin to be installed, I doubt it would make sense to add something for it in Iconic.

I'm Stuck at the one icon restriction. The Email payed for Premiere and the more icon license is the same. Also in the plugin Page is a Green Text telling me its registered. 

In the plugin configuration theres still the Text on the top for the registration / limiting

What am I'm doing wrong?

Hello @roaku, some time ago I reported this problem with the plugin and you told me you would fix it in an update. Almost a year has passed and you have updated the plugin, but the problem with collections still persists: the icon still does not appear in the collections I tag. It works fine for movies, but it doesn't work at all for collections. It's worth mentioning that I have the premium version of the plugin.

First of all, thank you very much for further developing the plug-in. It seems to be working with the collections now. However, I still have a small problem with the display:

The image is now displayed slightly smaller at the top and bottom.

(Emby Version 4.9.4.1 beta)

Sorry, that's been taken care of. It was due to the stored image; it displays correctly with a different image.
