Im not sure how to use this plugin

So as a test, I filled out:
Title: Audio
Language: English
I named the rule English. 

What I dont understand:

1) When I press the "V", it gives me the error: Please fill out all rule fields before committing, so I cant save
2) For whatever reason, when I reload the page, it IS saved, but filled out as aspectradio: audio (?!) and also the name is reset

As Im new, Im pretty sure I am overlooking something, but I dont know what

You need to click the checkmark to the right of Rule Type before saving the overall configuration.

This is happening for me also.

It does not happen with previous versions (I tested it)

Regardless of what rule is being created, the Property Key keeps reverting to aspectratio after commiting and saving the rule.

I would like to purchase the rights to use this plugin, but I have a question first. I want to use this plugin exclusively to identify movie collections within the movie library, but I haven’t been able to do so. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m using the trial version or if it’s simply not possible to add icons to collections. So far, I’ve noticed that the icons do appear when applied directly to movies, but not for collections.

Let me explain what I’ve done so far:

1. I created the icon for the collections library as follows:

 

1. Then, I went to a collection and added the tag:

 

1. I refreshed, but the icon didn’t appear in the collection:

 

Did I do something wrong, or am I missing a step? I’d appreciate your help with this.

No, this plugin leverages the Emby provided icons and that's it.

Did something change in how the badges are scaled/overlaid between 4.7 and 4.8 release? I'm getting huge badges the more image resolution goes down/is lower, ,most noticeable on episode thumbs (usually lowest res artwork type)? Thanks.

I like that this can show which movies I have that are HDR, but in my collection I also have some that have 7.1, TrueHD, Atmos, DTS, DTS-HD, DD, 5.1, AAC, etc, etc.  Is there a way to have the audio codecs show in a badge?  Also would it only be showing the one listed as Default or would it show all available tracks for that movie?

I think the MediaStream rule should cover what you need.

Here's an example using the track's Codec property to detect TrueHD:

 

Here's an example of using the Title property of an audio track to identify it as a commentary:

 

Iconic will check every track until it finds a match for the rule. So, for example, if any of your video's audio tracks are TrueHD, it will add a badge.

The icons are from Emby? I thought this was an external package of Icons that was being used?

I have to say that I love this Plug-In. The only downfall is the Icon Package. 90% of the Icons are not suited for Emby and there are numerous additional
ones that are needed (2.0, 5.1, 7.1 etc...).
I think the best option would be to be able to use PNG files.

I said the icons are *provided* by the host Emby server, not that they were originated by Emby.

@roaku I made the payment for the Iconic Image Enhancer plugin using a different email than the one linked to my Emby account. After clicking "Return" after the payment, the page kept loading and has been stuck for a long time, so I closed and reopened the browser, but the plugin is still not registered.
If I click "Register" again, it will ask me to pay again.
How long does it take to register after the purchase?

In my case, the email on my PayPal account is different from the one I used to register Emby, and I suspect that is why the plugin has not been activated, and probably will not activate automatically.
I would really appreciate your help with this issue and some guidance on how we can solve it.

@roakuDone, my purchase is now registered and I can finally add more than one icon. The only thing I’m sad about is not being able to place icons in collections. Do you remember I mentioned that to you before?
