is it possible to have a rule place an icon if a value is empty? like if a movie hasn't been tagged, then an icon would appear showing that it's a work in progress

No sorry.

Hey roaku,

this rule always worked fine - on Emby 4.8.7.0 it doesn't.

Could you please make this filename rule work again? I really need it to mark non german episodes here 🙂

![DE|!DE]

So if file name does not contain "[DE" or "DE]", use this rule.

"![DE" or "!DE]" works, but the combination doesn't fyi

Best regards

Hey,

Iconic is no longer working, unable to load configuration. Tried to uninstall/reinstall 2.4.1.1 release but no way...

Any idea to fix this problem?

Iconic 2.5.0.0 is working fine for me on Emby 4.8.3 running on Ubuntu. What version of Emby are you using and what platform is it hosted on?

Ok, I'll take a look.

Have you verified that only this rule is breaking for you? Or could it be that all filename rules have stopped working for you on Emby 4.8.7?

Is this still a good example for your filenames? Is it a TV rule that's failing for you?

Ok, looks like Emby updated the font files again for 4.8.7. I'll get it fixed. Thanks.

I think maybe these two requests are in conflict:

So, I've introduced an option in 2.6.0.0 for the FileName matching requirement for multiple values to be set by the user. The default behavior for existing filename rules will be the current ANY.

You can try out the new option by creating a new filename rule. Let me know how it goes.

Hey there,

since the update to 2.6. my rules only work partially. They've worked on 2.5 for all items, but somehow they only work for some media items for me on 2.6.

See the "HD" rule for example, which is a filename rule that applies to all items with "1080p" in the filename. It worked perfectly on 2.5, but 2.6 somehow breaks it for some items for me. Same goes for the tv show "status" rule, please see my screenshots (didn't change anything since 2.5):

image.thumb.png.8c1c489a2b53f246fc4d0baf008c72bd.pngimage.thumb.png.eaa5e93d7811924cce3f2866e59e2e69.png

Here are some logs as well, if u need them:

embyserver.txt

EDIT: Weird thing is it seems to happen randomly. If I'm in a movie or episode view and refresh the emby browser tab, the icons sometimes re-appear, sometimes they don't

Another example. Filename rule is to match "Bluray-1080p|WEBDL-1080p|WEBRip-1080p|HDTV-1080p" and all of those 3 have "Bluray-1080p" in their filename, yet Expendables 3 doesn't have an icon

I'm seeing a ton of these errors in your log:

Which is an error with Emby provided ids unrelated to the limited code changes in 2.6.

I suspect being on the beta is more likely to be the cause of your issue:

Info Main: Emby Server 4.9.0.26

I don't support the beta releases, but if you can recreate the problem on Emby 4.8 or if other reports come in from a stable release, I'll take a closer look.

Hey there @roaku,

Thank you for having a look at it. I didn't know this plugin doesn't support Beta Builds in general.

However, it seems the issue was fixed easily with a simple reboot of my host machine! And now everything's back to normal an your plugin is working! Sorry for the brief interruption and keep up the excellent plugin and support work 😍

Thanks so much for adding the new Music Albums functionality. I've tried some very basic testing with it today and have it working on a limited basis so far. This will be very useful, especially if/when it evolves further with some dedicated music icons. Keep up the great work. Cheers!!!

Hello, roaku:

Yesterday evening I went ahead and registered Iconic for my Emby installation; however, I never received any type of registration code. What am I missing?

Hi @hoggle thanks for registering.

Activation is automatic, but it can take up to 24 hours for Emby to fully recognize it.

That being said, if you registered the plugin with a different email address than the one used for your Emby premier registration, we'll need to work with the Emby team to correct that.

Got it, thank you. I'll let it cook for 24 hours. Appreciate the quick response!

Did you use the same email address to register the plugin as you use for Emby Premiere? That would prevent the activation from completing, and we'll need to work with the Emby team to correct that.

No, my email I used for emby premiere is gone. its almost 4 years ago. It was hijacked. I am using now only privat domains for my email.
And I didn't find any way, to chance my emby registration email.
