misterkoat 6 Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 I know there are a couple topics which discuss this issue but every time, the answer is usually "we'll look into it." I feel like this issue is of prime importance though it's not treated like it. Any app that supports music playback can basically scan ID3 tags and be able to group music according to album and artists [. It doesn't matter if the files are mixed together or they are in 100 different folders. Since I figure you get where I'm coming from, there's no need to go deeper into the issues. I'm just wondering, When is it gonna happen because it's a hassle to arrange files in this format Artist/Albums/Song.mp3
pwhodges 2014 Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 The current beta has revamped music support which is now fully tag-driven (though an improved folder walking option is also available). Some details are still being worked on during the beta period, but this will be in the next full release. Of course, this change means that it is far more important to have really clean tagging than it was before! Paul

Luke 42086 Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Yes, and to provide any more specifics beyond that we'd have to look at a specific example. thanks.
