Also, if my Max bitrate setting is 80 Mb/s but I am getting a bitrate of only somewhere between 3 and 5, should I change any settings from the normal?
Luke 42077 Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 Hi, your max quality setting in Emby will not raise the bitrate higher than what the source provides, so just keep that in mind.

I have tried lowering the quality to 3mb to see if that cuts down on the occasional problem of ffmpeg getting the seek to start failure. It doesn't seem to lower the quality of the picture, but If I lower the quality wouldn't that be because the client can't keep up?
