Video lag

Hey guys,

I have a HP prodesk with OMV (openmediavault)
- intel i3
- onboard graphics card
- 16 gb ram

Emby installed in a container. 

The problem is video lag if i want to watch a movie on my LG tv. I installed the app on the tv. 1080p movies works good. But 4k movies not so much, its stops playing or is very laggy.

I have Emby premiere.

Can you guys help me out?

you are likely having to transcode the file, and your server isn't powerful enough to properly do 4k.  figure out why it's transcoding by looking at the admin dashboard or using stats for nerds on the client, and address the reason.  if you can't get the media in a format your LG tv likes, you need a better server.
