Vevo channel issue.

I've just been giving the Vevo channel a little whirl.

 

I'm using MBT to play the channel but seem to have a few issues.

 

Takes a while to cache the icons, but once cached it seems fine.

 

Playing the video after pressing Play seems to take a while with no indication that it's doing anything.

Once the video stops, it just sits there with a black screen. If I back out and select another video then it fails to play. I have to restart MBT then I can play one more video and then the same problem.

 

No such issues using the channel from the web client (although it seems to refuse to play the HD version from there)

 

I'll post logs in the next post since I need to do that from the server.

Edit : played some more with this - sometimes at the end of the video it will return you to the play screen. Others (such as Calvin Harris - Summer) just sit at a black screen at the end.

 

@@snazy2000 dunno if it's a plugin issue or not.

 

It could just be Vevo being flaky I guess!

If it works fine in web client then it's MBT issue.

Played some more and some videos don't play in either.

 

It's all a bit hit and miss.

 

For example :-  (these are all under Videos, Most Viewed This Week

 

Calvin Harris - Summer plays fine, but then just stays on a black screen at the end.

Sia - Chandelier plays fine and then at the end returns you to the play screen as you would expect.

Magic! - Rude doesn't play at all

Imagine Dragons - Radioactive doesn't play at all.

 

The two that don't work listed above (and there are more) work fine in a web browser.
