When setting preferences for a user, for example how subtitle appears, it seems it is not saved in the user profile, it seem to be saved on the device.

Example:
I use Emby for Samsung TV, and I prefer yellow subtitle. Every time when there is a new update, and I download and install it, that setting is revert to standard (white).

I think it would be great if user settings was saved in the user profile instead of locally.

HI, most options are stored on the server, but some are per-device so that you can have different options on that device if you might want. When you update are you uninstalling first? That's the only thing I can think of that might cause that.

Yes, I am uninstalling first, because my TV (Samsung series 6) does not allow updating the app of some reason. My other TV (Samsung series 5) can update Emby app without problem.
