timg147 0 Posted January 21, 2021 Posted January 21, 2021 Hi All, Relative newbie here after trying plex. Im using an Nvidia shield pro 2019 with a HDhomerun connect tv tuner. I have tried searching on this topic but can't find any real information. the main issue I'm having is that while watching live tv the steam will just freeze and I either have to go back and reselect the channel or just switch channel. Interestingly using the HDhomerun app it doesnt miss a beat. I have noticed in Emby that the TV guide can sometimes be blank. Additionally the picture quality doesnt seem quite as good as through the HDhomerun app. I dont think it is related to Internet Connection as I can watch BBC iplayer ok on the shield. Does anyone have any suggestions?

ebr 16184 Posted January 21, 2021 Posted January 21, 2021 Instructions are in the topic I linked to but my guess is going to be an I/O bottleneck on the device when trying to process live TV. The complete freeze may also have been from running out of resources such as space.
