Q-Droid 989 Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Are you able to play the very same files using something like VLC?
mrmcphisto 0 Posted February 1, 2021 Author Posted February 1, 2021 Sorry Just busy vlc yes folder is a usb share mounted on fstab
Q-Droid 989 Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 Quote {"Protocol":"File","Id":"3f846b0b3f70f64b791efd376fe328c0","Path":"/home/pi/Desktop/Condivisa/Film/Ve ne dovevate andare.mp4","Type":"Default","Container":"mp4","Size":0,"Name":"Ve ne dovevate andare","IsRemote":false,"SupportsTranscoding":true,"SupportsDirectStream":true,"SupportsDirectPlay":true,"IsInfiniteStream":false,"RequiresOpening":false,"RequiresClosing":false,"RequiresLooping":false,"SupportsProbing":false,"MediaStreams":[],"Formats":[],"RequiredHttpHeaders":{},"ReadAtNativeFramerate":false} The "Size":0 is not a good sign. It also supports the invalid data/format and null content errors. For some reason it can't read the file contents, if there are any. Usually it's permissions but I think those errors would be different, access related. Make sure those files do have data, are the right size and can be accessed by emby on the Pi. Plugging the USB in another machine could show if they are indeed playable media files but emby must be able to read them on the Pi.
Luke 42078 Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 @mrmcphisto are you still having an issue with this?
