Unable to re-detect Hauppauge WinTV-quadHD tuner

Hi,

 

I deleted the WinTV-quadHD tuner form my emby server, and now I can not add it as a TV Provider...

I tried deleting the livetv.xml file from the emby config directory, then restarted the server. Still unable to add the WinTV-quadHD tuner .

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

got it fixed.

I only installed the drivers the first time i installed the tuner, then I read that I needed the Win TV program installed for emby server to detect the tuner.

I installed the Win TV program, but I have not do a PC restart. emby detected the tuner, but after deleting it from emby config, trying to install it again failed.

I do a PC restart and everything is back to normal.
