Need help to configure photo library setup - in terms of visualization in the interface

Hello,

I am trying out Emby at the moment on a QNAP NAS. The current issues I have are with photos. As I would like to see the photos via Emby, I have a source folder under which all albums are located with lots of photos (multiple 10k photos).

1. Thumbnail generation not fully automatically working

For some albums thumbnails were not created automatically. I had to go to the folder, open it and scroll through it until all thumbnails have been generated. This was mainly the case with scanned photos (from slides and similar). In other folders it seems that the thumbnail generation was fast - not sure, why. Is there a way to trigger the thumbnail generation without scrolling throught the UI waiting?

2. Starting view when opening photos library - I would like to have it keeping "folders" and not default to "Videos"

the library is marked as "Home Videos and Fotos". I would like to always see my albums, which in this case is achieved by "folder view". Regardless what I select, the view always starts with "Videos". When selecting "folders", it is not being stored. Everytime I get out of the library and back into it, it starts with Videos. How can I change that? Can I at all?

3. Folder view - year vs title vs both

In each folder with photos inside, by default the text below the fotos is the "year". I can change that in settings and additionally enable "title". As I have hundreds of these folders - how can I make this default for ALL folders which are in the library?

4. Regarding item 2 and 3

I would like to make this default on start for all users. They can later on change whatever they want, if you ask me :-), but I would like to change the default.

Item 2 seems to be a bug in the current release based on other topics. I consider this closed.

Thanks - any chance to share where this config is stored? Before going through all folders, I could set the according config whereever it sits (db, config file...)?

If this is looked at again it would also be useful if you were allowed to choose a default container setting because I create raw picture files (NEF) and don't want to see two of each image in the folder.

Database, but it's not in a format that will be easily editable.
