Mixed media - Music and videos

Hi,

I was wondering about this. I've a couple of music cds which have CD-Rom interviews etc on them. Do I put both the music tracks & the video files in a mixed content library? It seems a shame if so as there aren't many like this in my music collection so I'm going to have a different folder for these whereas the rest of my music is in my music folder. Is there any work around to have the videos show in the music folder?

music videos show on the artist page below music. i have separate folders for music and music videos but emby combines them in the presentation

So, is that in a mixed content folder or in the music folder? What file structure do you use?

My current music folder structure is:

Music/Artist/Album

MV's in a MusicVideo library

with metadata for artist which gets "paired" with the albumArtist of the music

then they will appear in the AA home page etc

Just a thought. The music videos are showing up in the music library under Artist, which is great, but is there any way of getting them to show up under specific albums?

Thanks Luke. That would be a nice feature if you have music videos from a particular album.

Just checked, It works in the ROKU app but doesn't seem to in Firestick.

What doesn't work?  Are you not getting the videos showing with the artist?

I believe this is in both beta versions of those apps.  So, you may be running the beta of Roku but the stable of Fire...?

Downloaded the beta and it is showing music videos under albums. All fine!
