Jerren 17 Posted January 17, 2021 Posted January 17, 2021 I noticed awhile ago that Emby has a function to let your mobile device upload it's pictures which is neat. But something that i can't find and which i guess is my question is, can we decide what pictures get uploaded? Instead of the entire gallery that is. Because while handy as a quick and dirty backup of my mobile device picture gallery, it gives me allot of unneeded pics aswell. Also i'm a bit of the archiver of pictures for my friends so it would be nice if i could give them an account and tell them "hey use the camera upload and upload the latest pictures from our get together". Sure i could do that now too but i'm pretty sure i don't want to go looking through my friends personal pictures. I'm using this as an example since it recently came to mind but yeah that is why i'm asking if the upload can be a "select which pictures from your gallery to upload instead of a upload your entire gallery type of deal". Thanks in advance!
Luke 42083 Posted January 18, 2021 Posted January 18, 2021 Hi, if you go into the mobile app settings you can pick which folders you want to upload.
Jerren 17 Posted January 18, 2021 Author Posted January 18, 2021 Hey Luke! Thanks for the reply! Yes i can see that but that's kinda the problem, i can only select for example the "DCIM" folder which contains all pictures taken. But what i want to know is if it's possible to select only certain pictures. Because the folder will upload all of the pictures. At the moment i'm not seeing such an option so i'm afraid it's not possible, but i figured i would ask here since people here have more knowledge of Emby then me. If it's not possible at the moment, it would be nice to basically get the same options but then when you select a folder, that folder opens and you can select all or only the pictures you want to upload. Although maybe this is better suited in a feature request then, but i'll await your response first, don't want to make too many threads if it's not needed.
Luke 42083 Posted January 18, 2021 Posted January 18, 2021 Hi, yes currently that's as far as you can drill down, but more options are certainly possible in future updates. Yes you can always create a feature request topic to further expand on the existing options. Thanks.
