bmflagg 21 Posted January 17, 2021 Posted January 17, 2021 Lastest Emby build. On QNAp TS-451+ Libraries are all built. Movie Library will not build Collections. I have set "Group items into collections", but the collection view isn't being created. Ideas anyone?
seanbuff 1315 Posted January 17, 2021 Posted January 17, 2021 Collections are 'built' either manually, or by using the Auto Box Sets plugin. Once you create some collections, you will see that view populated. 1

But yes collections are currently only created by the plugin automatically from required metadata. Do you have TMDB enabled as a metadata provider? Does your media have the TMDBCollectionid? 1

bmflagg 21 Posted January 18, 2021 Author Posted January 18, 2021 Hello.. Yes, there is TheMovieDb Id and a TheMovieDB Collection ID. I've set the movies to refresh metadata and also rescan library...

I seem to recall a setting from long ago that ..if more than two add to collection..(sic) but things are a bit fuzzy now. So going forward we must create collections manually? On my older windows 7 MCE / Emby setup..I had a lot of collections. maybe it was auto box sets... Edited January 18, 2021 by bmflagg
