No DLNA Playback with Bang & Olufsen

Hi,

i have some B&O Speaker with DLNA integrated. So i start the B&O App, choose the Emby Server and start playing some Music (Flac). After ca. 30 min the Music stopps and i can not start new music. I see the cover, but it wont start playing. I restartet the speaker, the Server, the Router...nothing.

Hi,

i tried different things...

1. My Samsung TVs say that they can not play Flacs, or anything else from dlna

2. Last night i installed the emby server beta on a new windows 10 and now its working.

I‘ve seen this Update today. Nothing is workung :( - i have two Beoplay A6 and one Beosound Core. I tried it with the iOS App and the Browser App in win10.

Normally i use the B&O App...but the Emby App is much better, More functional and looks nicer. So i Hope you‘ll get this to work

I Hope you See the Screenshot...its late and

i See my Beoplay devices, i can Chose the Beoplay a6 ihre the Core dlna and then i can Not Play Musik. I try to „Click“ on a Song, but emby will Not Start.

@Lukewill have to comment but you are getting this error for stream.flac using default profile.

Does beoplay support flac?

Yes it does. Theres a B&O App which is working, but Not so functional.

As a test, can you use the plugin catalog to install version 1.0.44 of the dlna plugin? Then restart the server and try again. Just avoid restarting a second time because the server will update the plugin again to the latest. Thanks.

Hi!

I tried it with version 1.0.44 but it did not work. It takes some time till i see my speaker. Chromecast is working.

I've seen there is a new version - i will test it today. thank you!

here's what i did:

1.  I updated the server
2.  I tried it with Flac and MP3 Files
3.  I tried it with three B&O Devices (2x Beoplay A6 (WLAN) and Beosound Core (LAN))
4.  Streaming direct to my Samsung Screen is working -.-
5.  There's a B&O App which streams the Files from my server, but the handling is horrible

maybe you can work with this log from one device?

Yes i tested it with 1.0.44.

Now its working with mp3 Files...don't know why. But why its not working with Flac?

Hi,

i tried it, but i'm not sure that i was using the correct version. the server told me to restart after choosing the any older version but after the restart he shows the newest version.

And yes, no flac on dlna to my beosound core, or beoplay a6.
