Two video files in MKV

I have an old movie that I have enhanced to 4k.  So in the MKV I have the original mp4 and then 4k enhanced mp4 in it.  I was expecting Emby to give me an option to select between them like it does with the audio and subtitles but it doesn't.  Is it supposed to?

Thanks.

At this time emby only supports a single Video stream - it will always use the first stream.

If you need the 2nd stream, then the easiest way is to just de/remux into it's own separate file (using mkvtoolnix etc) - duplicating the Audio streams as required.

edit - as long as you keep the file name prior to the '-' the same as the directory name - then you will see both as part of the multi-resolution feature.

see half way down this link ..

They need to be in the same exact movie folder. Not inside the same MKV.

Most modern video player (Roku, etc) expect streaming media. These only contain a single video stream.
