cochize1 55 Posted January 15, 2021 Posted January 15, 2021 So basicaly I for some videaos, mainly animated Pixar and Disney movies i have both versions of the files: dubbed and with subtitles. I name them properly and they are displayed correctly: Movie Name (year) - Dubbed.mp4 Movie Name (year) - Subtitles.mp4 They are all stored with the rest of the 'regular' files in my Movies library but these are the only ones I have 2 versions of one movie (all others are just 1080p, no 4K, 3D or any others). I made them all accessible at one place making a 'Voice-over' collection. The thing is that by default they are all set to the Subtitle version and I have to manually pick the dubbed one. How can I reverse that so the dubbed version will be the default one displayed in 'version' droppped down menu making it default... well, by default:)?
Luke 42085 Posted January 18, 2021 Posted January 18, 2021 Hi, there's no way to set a default as it's based on which version is most efficient, not based on movie editions.
ebr 16195 Posted January 18, 2021 Posted January 18, 2021 Hi. Instead of two different versions, you could have just one version with two different audio streams...
GrimReaper 4762 Posted January 18, 2021 Posted January 18, 2021 (edited) Or append header with Language info and have that language as Preferred in Settings>Playback? Edit: Don't know if that works for multi-version or only multi-audio media? Edited January 18, 2021 by GrimReaper76 Afterthought

Edit: Don't know if that works for multi-version or only multi-audio media? No, I don't think that would work. But having multiple audio tracks instead of multiple items (along with proper default settings and tags) should. 1
