Unable to playback recorded series on Firestick 4K

New to all this but unable to playback a recorded series.  Starts to payback for split second, tries 3 times then message 'too many errors'.  I believe I have attached the log file.

How were these recorded?

Off the Live TV guide, have series set to record.  Using xteve with m3u.  Would this help?  It play fine on iphone and windows 10.

Yes, it’s recorded 6 in this series and none will play on firestick

Okay, your sample plays fine for me on my Fire stick.  @softworkz can you expand on what the above ffmpeg error actually means?

Hi, as a test, if you disable hardware transcoding in server transcoding settings, does that help?

Hi Luke,

Disabling the hardware transcoding did not help, but I have determined the problem is related to closed captioning that is coming in from open subtitles.  If I turn off the subtitles the videos will play.  At one point with production firestick I know I tried playing without the subtitles and still had an issue, but with the beta of firestick and subtitles off the videos will play.  Sorry to have wasted everyone's time here.  I'll look for other subtitle source, or keep off.

You may simply be avoiding the issue by no longer needing ffmpeg to be involved when turning off the subs but we'd need to see a new set of logs to confirm.
