one character titles

My Emby server doesn't find one title.

it's the movie "9" (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0472033)

I have it stored in a directory called "9 (2009)" and the .mkv is called: "9 (2009) - 9.Bluray-qk.mkv"

if i rename the directory to "99 (2009)" emby finds the .mkv and add it to the library. I don't have to rename the mkv-file, only the directory.

why doesn't emby scan "/path/to/media/% (yyyy)/" directories?

the movie doesn't show up in emby-client. the server doesn't add it to the library.

But if i rename the directory to '99 (2009)' instead of '9 (2009)' the server adds the movie to the library and it shows up in emby clients.

Are you sure it's not being displayed as something else incorrectly?

Hi,

after enabling debug for the logging i managed to find that it did add the directory. 

Debug App: Running OmdbItemProvider for /path/to/media/9 (2009)/9 (2009) - 9.Bluray-qk.mkv

but it linked it to Redline (2009) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1483797/

Is omdb your highest priority movie fetcher on the library?

yes, 

first i got "The Open Movie Database" then "TheMovieDb"

Ok I'd probably suggest putting MovieDb first for better search results.
