Albertax 14 Posted January 13, 2021 Posted January 13, 2021 Hi Team, I am just asking this - because it may be a security issue. Today, I upgraded all of my media centre software (Emby/Sonarr & Radarr) over to the Caddy Reverse Proxy server, and set them up. My old solution was a NoIP domain for remote access and have since moved it over to my domain. I have shutdown the server, restarted Emby and changed my port forwarding on my router. But for some reason, this user can still connect - and i haven't told him the new address or port number. Any ideas on what might be causing this behaviour?
Carlo 4561 Posted January 13, 2021 Posted January 13, 2021 Hi, Can you give us more info as to the way they used to connect URL wise and how they now connect? Feel free to replace domain.com for your domain in any example or feel free to PM me specific examples.

mondwa 4 Posted June 30, 2023 Posted June 30, 2023 I am having the same issue, I have changed the domain in the emby server and rebooted, I did not change the port. I am able to login from both the old domain and the new domain thru my computer browser. http://firstdomain.ddns.net:8096 Http://2nddomain.ddns.net:8096 both let me in yet only the 2nd domain is in the server settings of emby.

The settings in Emby do not determine how your domain is resolved. If both domains resolve to the proper IP address (via DNS one would presume), then they will both arrive at your server. 1
