Emby is not fetching images from the movie DB for select movies despite correctly finding them

Hello,

I have been trying to figure this out but have hit a wall. I have a number of movies that just will not update their images from the movie DB despite being correctly linked to the right entry:

https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/188029-videograss-enlighten

https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/345901-perceptions

https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/130584-let-it-ride-the-craig-kelly-story/images/posters

https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/80590-all-i-can

And more. Some of these i have recently added posters for, some already had them (and sometimes when i have added a new posted it shows up right away). When i use the identify feature it finds them alright, and even shows the correct artwork but doesn't update it. I have stopped the service, cleared out the cache folder and this issue still persists. I have tried adding images by hand but then when i try to fetch them again it defaults to the screengrab.

It's also worth noting that if i disable the screen grabber, add an image by hand, then refresh all metadata with replacing images it clears the custom one to nothing

Are there any images within the media folder?

Do you have the option to save with media enabled?

My need to see a server log going over a specific example.

1) for the ones that are not downloading: no

2) you mean this option?

and sure, what logs and should i turn debug on?

Leave debug off unless told specifically to turn it on.  This logs far too much info for normal reading but can be useful for specifics.  Logs get big quick with that on.

The server log is what Happy2Play is referring to.

bunch of them showed up but not all: https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/345901-perceptions still refuses to load

I had a similar issue not long ago, and it turned out that it was because the image on themoviedb was set to another language than my default

The preview image would appear when you performed an 'Identify' but it simply would not download the primary image.

In your instance, the primary image is set to 'French' and that's probably why

You'll need to perform an 'Edit Images' and then select All Languages to reveal this poster

You should be able to fetch it after that. I just tested this.
