Android TV Latest TV - unable to find episode to play when starting new show

I am using the Latest Media category to try and watch a new show in my TV library. When I go into the show and click Play Next Episode it says it is unable to find the next episode to play. This is happening for all new shows that I have never watched an episode for. Any shows I am continuing to watch work just fine. I have attached a video to show the behavior.

The web app and iOS app work just fine. Seems to only affect Android TV

Is it going to be fixed? It only started doing this recently, always worked in the past.
