milpat 1 Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 Hi! I have a quick question that I did not find answered before. When setting up my emby server I checked, for subtitles to require a hash match and not to not to store in media folders. I just changed it to not require hash match and to store in media folders. Where are the subtitles stored if not stored in media folders so I can manually move them or will it automatically do it for me?
Carlo 4561 Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 Hi, it will not automatically move them for you. Have you checked the meta-data folders? You could do a wildcard search for *.srt
milpat 1 Posted January 11, 2021 Author Posted January 11, 2021 Where are the meta-data folders? Could you put a generic file explorer path?
Carlo 4561 Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 Check the PATH section (bottom of page normally) on the Dashboard.
milpat 1 Posted January 11, 2021 Author Posted January 11, 2021 Checked. Nothing there for .srt. And I know it downloaded as I do not have any subs in the folder with the media.
Carlo 4561 Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 (edited) Have you tried searching the whole drive for SRT? I'm not certain exactly where they would be stored, but they shouldn't be hard to find. Edited January 11, 2021 by cayars
milpat 1 Posted January 12, 2021 Author Posted January 12, 2021 The whole C drive or the drive where the media is located?
Carlo 4561 Posted January 12, 2021 Posted January 12, 2021 I'd search the drive where the meta-data is stored.
