Follow up post..

it's back after a few minutes of responding to Luke....been super busy and this is the first chance I've had to respond.

In Chrome.. emby loads. with edge.. fails.  Edge will load the authentication page, but once authenticated, this.
After first I thought it was nothing more than a DNS alias, but using straight IP.. shows that it's not.
Any Ideas?
edited post to include log file.. see near the end..13:11:xx hours..  using, for this example..emby.theflaggs.com, which redirect to mail.theflaggs.com, ports forward to this internal box.
After which it fails, but only with MS Edge. could it be that I don't have a SSL certificate?
The accompanying screenshot is direct internal IP tests.

Hi, no you won't need a certificate for local use using port 8096 as you are doing.

Have you tried refreshing the cache on Edge?

Hi..
Thanks for the SSL info. I was thinking MS Edge new security settings...
I've tried to reset the cache.. All I get is the prompt to login for name / pwd and then nothing. Same error.

BTW.. I recall now I tried from work and it does the same thing from as well.

What version of Edge are you using?

I'll see if I can get that version and try this for you.

I had no issue getting to login page in Edge (Version 87.0.664.75 (Official build) (64-bit)).

FYI may want to remove current or sanitize logs before posting.  You can always pm logs upon request also.

There was a 3-5 second delay redirecting from */web/index.html to */web/index.html#!/

Googling "result_code killed_bad message" seems to be a common issue but seems odd Edge and Chrome are acting differently unless different versions.

thanks for the info.. will clean logs going forward..

I'm running the same version of edge as you. The only thing that's different from before all this..
I was running on a pc with Windows 7 MCE w/Ceton tuner card and emby riding on top of that.
I retired windows 7 and installed Emby on my QNAP (TS-451+) box. Then the problem started.
