CChris 59 Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 Hi all, First of all - Happy new year ! Keep on the good work I'm running my Emby Server for some time now on a Debian Server - and today I want to report an smaller issue I've faced from time to time. Emby is running within a Proxmox Container Environment. Additionally, I am running a TVHeadend Installation on another Container (Another Server). Everytime when the TVHeadend Server is not started, Emby is trying to load the content for the User - but except of the loading image (circle), nothing happens. As soon as the TV Headend Server is then started, Emby is able to load everything. Would it be possible to implement something which will allow that Emby will be able to load all libraries that are available locally (Movies, Music, TV Shows, etc.) but highlight Live TV as "not available" or similar? I think, it is not a great user experience if you can't even watch a local movie, only because the LiveTV Server isn't repsonding to Emby Thanks a lot and Cheers, Chris
Luke 42078 Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 Hi there, please attach the emby server log from when this happens. Thanks.
CChris 59 Posted January 7, 2021 Author Posted January 7, 2021 (edited) Hi Luke, file is attached. My TVHeadend Server has the IP 192.168.52.244 I've shutted down TV Headend and restarted the Emby application. Then the issue happened. If you shutdown the TVHeadend while Emby is running, it seems to work as expected (Emby is usable) embyserver.txt Edited January 7, 2021 by CChris
Luke 42078 Posted January 8, 2021 Posted January 8, 2021 Ok it's trying to get a list of recordings. Have you considered importing TVH into emby using TVH's m3u output feature instead? You wouldn't run into this if you did that.
